I'm Helena Alonso, also known as Malenita! I'm an illustrator, crochet enthusiast, book lover, and a total movie nerd! Currently, I work as a freelance illustrator specializing in children's literature. Storytelling has always been my passion, and after studying Visual Arts and obtaining a certificate in Graphic Novels & Comics, I discovered my love for blending illustration with sequential art elements. I work in both digital and analog mediums, with a preference for watercolors.
I am constantly learning and exploring new ways to express my art and thoughts. I'm always ready for a new book adventure.
